If you live in one of the many towns of the Texas Panhandle, now is a great time to throw some luggage in the car and head to Lubbock for a holiday getaway and shopping spree.
Lubbock has quite a few events intended to put folks in a holiday mood, particular in the way of music and theater. The Garza Theater presents a musical adaptation of the Dickens Classic “A Christmas Carol” through much of December. The Cactus Theater presents a variety of holiday shows, from Michael Martin Murphy’s Cowboy Christmas, a Cactus Family Christmas, and Sanders Family Christmas. (more…)
