2010 Live Entertainment at Brauntex Theatre, New Braunfels, Texas
Come and relax in downtown New Braunfels Texas and experience a variety of wonderful live broadway style entertainment. Rock, western music, comedy, jazz, and much, much more. The Brauntex Theatre was a well known movie theatre when young men and women that were born and raised here in New Braunfels visited what used to be a movie theatre. It has been given a facelift. Its new revived status now gives visitors, tourists, and residents the opportunity to experience live entertainment in an elegant setting, comfortable seats, great lighting, clean, and family friendly. Enjoy a "gourmet FOODIE weekend at the ranch" where guests determine the depth of their involvement, with options ranging from a visit to an area farmer's market, garden harvest to cooking with me. Regardless of how much you get involved, these weekends are all about kicking back with some great food & drinks! Fun begins Friday evening at 6:00 and continues Saturday with a trip to the local farmers market, harvesting from our gardens and cooking early afternoon. Menus will reflect the season and feature local produce, meats and wine as available. Come experience a 2 day feast of flavors & fun! The weekend, priced per couple, includes: Lodging Heavy Appetizers and Drinks Friday evening starting at 6:00 Multi Course Dinner Saturday evening starting at 6:00. However, Gruene offers a special weekend each month that everyone should come and experience called Gruene Market Days. Every 3rd weekend from February through November, over 100 vendors feature handmade crafts and Texas foods. To truely have a full experience, you'll need to plan to stay at least 2 nights in a bed and breakfast because of all of the shops and live entertainment. The largest county fair in the State of Texas, the Comal County Fair. Certified PRCA Rodeo, live entertainment and music, carnival, great food, wonderful specialty shops and bed and breakfasts. Everyone is welcome. "Take your coat off and stay a little longer", as Bob Wills says in one of his famous songs... and stay in a Texas Bed and Breakfast while in New Braunfels, Texas. We are 25-30 minutes from San Antonio and 45 minutes to 1 hr. from Austin, Texas.
