1847 Historic Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast

FRIENDSHIP, GREAT FOOD and INFORMAL TEXAS HOSPITALITY. Acreage near Historic Gruene & New Braunfels allows guests to unwind and recharge. Here the guys can play golf or tennis and the ladies can go shopping locally or at the Outlet Mall in San Marcos just 12-15 minutes away. We are a great location for daytrips to surrounding towns.

Enjoy staying in our popular bed and breakfast established in 1987. Our 3 luxuriously restored buildings include:
HISTORIC KUEBLER WALDRIP HAUS 1847 (5,000-sq. ft.) a German pioneer limestone and hand-hewn timber log home was built by Andreas and Katherine Pape from Hanover, Germany. The building now has 5 separate rooms each with a private bath;
HISTORIC DANVILLE SCHOOLHOUSE 1863 (2,500-sq. ft.) an original Texas schoolhouse, named for Texas Ranger Daniel Murchison, was moved to our ranch from Solms in Comal County in 1990. It now has 5 separate rooms also each with a private bath; and
DEER HAVEN COTTAGE (1,000-sq. ft.) a cozy 3 bedroom cottage with tile floors, a jacuzzi bath, living room, and full kitchen, and sleeps 2-5 people.

The following rates do NOT include hotel tax (10%). ** If added guests are added over 2 per room, add $30 per extra adult (18+) and add $20 per extra child (ages 3-17). Children welcome 0-100. No charge for children 2 and younger.

CRIB: We have a crib available if needed (free). Please request when reserving.

KUEBLER WALDRIP BUILDING ROOMS:

KUEBLER'S KASTLE ROOM - is a wonderful downstairs room with a king size bed and a marble shower bath. Nightly rate for 2 is $145 & sleeps 2.

HILLSIDE HIDEAWAY ROOM ** - is a very comfortable upstairs room with a king and double size bed and a marble Jacuzzi bath tube... perfect for 2. Nightly rate for 2 is $155 and sleeps 2-4 max.

GUILBEAU ROOM ** - is an upstairs room located right above the kitchen. You get to smell coffee.. before having coffee. This room has a queen and a twin size bed. Nightly rate for 2 is $135 and sleeps 2-3 max.

KATHERINE'S ATTIC ROOM ** - is an upstairs room in the original historic part of the main house. It is a large room with 2 kings and 1 twin bed and a marble Jacuzzi/shower bath. Nightly rate for 2 is $175 and sleeps 2-5 max.

ROOM WITH A VIEW - is also a very comfortable upstairs room with a great view. It has a king size bed and a shower bath. Nigthtly rate for 2 is $145 and slees 2.



DANVILLE SCHOOLHOUSE BUIDING ROOMS:

EAST ROOM ** - is an upstairs room in the schoolhouse with a king size bed and a queen sleeper bed, marble countertop with a sink and a shower bath. Nightly rate for 2 is $145 and sleeps 2-4 max.

WEST ROOM - is an upstairs room in the schoolhouse, also with a king bed, marble countertop with a sink and a shower bath. Nightly rate for 2 is $145 & sleeps 2.

DANVILLE SCHOOL ROOM SUITE - is a wonderful large 2 room suite that includes the original school room and the Sweet Retreat room. The schoolroom has a queen Murphy bed and a marble Jacuzzi bath and Sweet Retreat has a king bed and a handicapped access shower. Equipped with a full kitchen, bar area, sitting area, chalkboard, piano and a covered porch. Nightly rate for 2-4 guests is $350 and it sleep up to 4 max.

DANVILLE PORCH ROOM ** - is the third downstairs room in the school house, and it has a king bed and a sleeper sofa (best for children), a private porch, a kitchenette and a shower bath. Nightly room rate for 2 is $165 and it sleeps 2-4 max.



DEER HAVEN COTTAGE ** - is our separate cottage and our pet friendly room. Beds include 2 queens and 1 twin, a kitchen, dining room, living room and marble Jacuzzi bath. Nightly rate for 2 is $225.00 & sleeps 2-5 max.

PET FEES AND POLICIES: Pets are not allowed in any rooms in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus or the Danville Schoolhouse buildings. Pets are allowed in our Deer Haven Cottage. A pet charge of $20 per pet/night plus a $200 damage fee is required. RULES: Pets if left alone must be crated and if outside must be leashed at all times. Pets must be well behaved and quiet.
