Alexandra's House was built in 2008 as an upscale, traditional B&B with a two-course gourmet breakfast served daily. It is located just minutes away from Wimberley, San Marcos and Gruene (just off of RR 12 next to Wimberley Glass Works). Whether you are celebrating a birthday, an aniversary, a wedding or planning a weekend "getaway", luxury and relaxation await you at Alexandra's House.
Located on 5 acres of Live Oaks and wildflowers, Alexandra's House offers a daily two course breakfast, wonderful ironed linens, private baths, hair dryers, TVs, DVDs and wireless internet. A wraparound porch porch offers an area for relaxation while viewing the grounds. Other amenities include a freestanding fireplace, flowers, good coffee, teas and homemade snacks.
Your hosts, Rosemary and Reed, have created a beautiful place for your enjoyment. The property also houses a wonderful barn and water fountain to add to your enjoyment. The screened porch is a great place to relax, view the fountain and watch the hummingbirds. Breakfast is often served there as well.
Our 5 acres is home to wildlife such as deer, fox, wild turkeys, Road Runners and various other birds. Large red rockers on the wraparound porch are a great place to relax, read a book and drink a glass of wine while viewing the grounds.
The B&B has HD satellite TV and DVD in the living area. The home is beautifully furnished with antiques, art work, photography and books. Games and movies are also available. Every attention to detail has been given to make your stay memorable.
Various restaurants, shopping areas and wineries are locatied nearby. One of the most interesting places to visit is located just next door: Wimberley Glassworks, the Southwest's premier art glass and custom lighting studio which offers a gallery and free glassblowing demonstrations.
