Cedars Cabins

Come escape to the country!  Relax and enjoy a peaceful stay in any of our several cabins, set among rich Texas landscapes of majestic trees and rolling hills. We can accommodate any numer of guests in style and comfort within a country setting. There are 4 fishing ponds and plenty of wildlife to enjoy, whether it is deer at sunset or the many native Texas animals that call The Cedars home. Registered cattle and pasture horses will also greet you when you stay at any of our Cedars Cabins.

We are unhosted, country homes and cabins that provide 'fix your own coffee' and all of the comforts of home!  Complete with kitchens or kitchenettes, depending on the size of the cabin you choose.

The Cedars Cabin is a charming vintage era cabin, four bedrooms, three bathrooms with plenty of room for families and friends! Relax outside on the porch swing or rockers, or lounge lazily under the oak tree on the hammock.  A great picnic table and fire pit await you at the Cedars Cabin, our largest Cabin!

The Main House is a two story late 1800, early 1900's era home with three private bedrooms and two bathrooms. Plenty of room for the kids or an addtional family upstairs.  Enjoy the outdoor firepit or any of the three porches and take in the wide vistas of the surrounding countryside.

The Post Oak Cabin is a 150 year old structure tastefully decorated as a woodlands style country cabin with unobstructed views and more than 100 feet away from the Main House.  Stretch out in the kingsize bed, on the porch swing or on the hammock under the shade of its majestic oak tree.

The Fishing Cabin is a cozy, one bedroom eficency set out on a great fishing pond.  It's our most popular cabin with plenty of dock and porches to enjoy fishing, sitting or lounging in the hammock.  

Hilltop House is ideal for 2 couples looking for a nice stay or a family looking to get away to the country. This restored structure (Summer 2010) has one of the most compelling views off the front porch of the 250 acre property and surrounding areas. It also catches some very nice breezes in the summer months. This house has a full kitchen with dining area, television area and a great porch. Each bedroom has a connected private bathroom, making it a great venue for that weekend or trip you have always wanted to take with good friends or family.

The Prairie Home is quietly situated overlooking some of the largest meadow views on the property. This restored structure (Winter 2011) was part of the original train station in New Ulm. It is a cozy accommodation for 2 couples looking for a country escape or a family looking for lots of outdoors room to roam and explore. It has a full kitchen, dining and family/TV area. Its open views of the native Texas grasslands are unobstructed, except for the wildlife coming to the game feeder.
