Ogé House - Inn on the Riverwalk
The Ogé House is one of three Noble Inns properties. Built in 1857 for Newton Mitchell, and expanded by rancher Louis Ogé, this exquisite antebellum neoclassical property sits on 1.5 acres overlooking the famed Riverwalk, surrounded by lush plantings, rose gardens and lawns.
In confirmation of its historical importance, the Ogé House was one of a handful of structures in San Antonio chosen by the U.S. Department of the Interior to be recorded in the Historic American Buildings Survey for its archives in the Library of Congress. Step into another era and allow yourself to be transported to a slower-paced time.
Expansive verandas, gazebo and seating throughout the gardens and lawns offer time for reflection and relaxation. Nothing compares to an afternoon spent with a book in the hammock.
Business and convention travelers will appreciate the high-speed internet, in-room desk, mini refrigerator, and flexible breakfast options.
The Ogé House Inn offers 10 guest experiences on three floors. Each is elegantly appointed with American and European antiques, and all have been recently completely remodeled and redecorated. These include 3 luxurious suites, each with a fireplace, private seating area on a veranda or balcony, exquisite granite bathroom with large double jacuzzi and separate granite & frameless glass shower, king bed, and in suite stereo system. All rooms feature numerous amenities, including flat panel LCD television with cable, DVD player, complimentary use of our DVD library, custom robes, wireless high-speed internet, down feather bed, individually controlled heat and air conditioning, in room refrigerator, telephone with voicemail, lighted off-street parking, and full multi-course breakfast.
Make your stay even more special by adding one of our many packages or extra amenities. Visit our website to see the selection available, whether its an in room massage or transportation in our 1960 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud!
The Ogé House is rated AAA 4-diamond and Mobil Travel Guide 3-star.
