Welcome to Wrigley House Bed and Breakfast located in the quaint town of Brenham, Texas.
There has been a dwelling on the Wrigley House location since 1883 when the lot was incorporated in the Old Town Survey. In 1910 German immigrant J. F. Schramm, purchased the location where Wrigley House now sits and built the charming house for his son Battus and his new wife Hannah. They raised their little daughter, Ruby, in the house and it retains that family home feeling. It takes you back to the time when milk was delivered by horsecart, and life's pace was slower and more gentle. The house is a beautiful example of the era. From the solid oak and pine floors and five-panel doors, to tall windows and deep baseboards and moldings, the house invokes memories of time gone by, when fine craftsmanship was a matter of pride.
The wrap around front porch with plenty of seating and a comfy porch swing provides a place to read about Historical Brenham and the Texas Independence Trail in books provided by the Innkeeper. Browse the scrapbook containing photos and information about the former residents of Wrigley House.
