The Hill Country has beautiful scenery dotted with idyllic small towns. Each small town has something that makes it unique and special. Hill Country Live Music in December
Cowboy Capital Opry – Tuesday December 4, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Silver Sage Corral Senior Center in Bandera.
This is Grand Ol’ Opry style entertainment. There is lots of good country western music and fiddle playing. Refreshments will be available and door prizes given away. $5.00 per adult; $12.00 family. Find a bed and breakfast near Bandera Texas
Suzy Bogguss – Thursday December 6, Uptown Marble Theater in Marble Falls.
Bogguss is a platinum selling songstress with a bookshelf of Grammy and CMA awards. Her most recent project is an American Folk songbook. Bogguss wanted to share folk songs with younger generations, not present them as dated museum pieces. She breathed new life into this genre with contemporary arrangements and a grip of Nashville’s acoustic A-Listers working on the album, including Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Pat Bergeson, Charlie Chadwick and Jeff Taylor. Christmas Through the Ages – Thursday, December 6, 7:30 p.m. at Cailloux Theater in Kerrville.
