Grapevine – The Christmas Capital of Texas®

Grapevine - Christmas Capital of Texas

If there’s any month you should consider checking out Grapevine, Texas, it’s December.

Why, you ask?

Well, in December, Grapevine just about explodes with Christmas. The folks in Grapevine are so darned serious about the holiday they’ve gone ahead and registered trademark: “Grapevine – The Christmas Capital of Texas®”

Okay, so registering a trademark doesn’t exactly make a thing what someone says it is – so why does Grapevine call itself the Capital of Christmas? Well, it could be that they play host to more than 1,400 Christmas-themed events in and around the month of December.

Yeah, you read that right: 1,400+ Christmas events in a little under a month. Things like the North Pole Express, Christmas at the Palace Theatre, Grapevine Opry Christmas Shows, a Parade of Lights, the Twinkle Light Boat Parade, Christmas Wine Trains, Le Theatre de Marionette, a Victorian Christmas at Nash Farm and about 1,392 more things to do.
