It’s hard to believe that we’ve already made it all of the way around the sun once again but it’s true: 2013 is almost over and a bright, shiny 2014 is arriving to take its place … and Celebrate San Antonio 2014 is ready!
Celebrate San Antonio is one of the largest New Year’s Eve celebrations in the US with more than a quarter of a million people in attendance each year – but hey, this *is* Texas and San Antonio is the 7th largest city in America, so who’s surprised?
Celebrate San Antonio 2014 takes place in central HemisFair Park and the surrounding area – South Alamo Street between Market and Durango Streets and also in La Villita. This includes, of course, the lush and inviting Riverwalk, with its many eateries, bars and shopping. plethora of bars, restaurants hotels and many other attractions.
A perfect setting for an iconic New Year’s Eve party, in other words.
Four stages of live music are planned to provide entertainment throughout the evening, starting at 6:30pm and culminating with the grand fireworks display at midnight.
And speaking of fireworks, you have GOT to see this show. While the rest of the party – the music, the dancing, the food and drink – definitely plays a part, the fireworks show is a visual extravaganza of light and noise like no other and undoubtedly one of the bigger reasons Celebrate San Antonio is consistently voted one of the best New Year’s Eve celebrations in America.
