The Mosheim Mansion is the grand dam of Seguin’s Historic District. This Victorian jewel features rooms with private baths, whirlpool suites, private dining and meeting areas, beautiful common spaces and wedding venues decorated with exquisite antiques. Sit on the massive porches or enjoy a glass of complimentary wine by the parlor fireplace.
Built in 1896 by prominent lawyer Emil Mosheim, this mansion has been lovingly restored to period grandour. There are 8 fireplaces. Those original to the house came from Germany and each bronze and tile firebox is themed. The dining room features the north wind face. This is also the motif of the one set of dining chairs. Each is hand carved and covered in leather. Others are French castle chairs with exquisite tooled leather. There are gorgeous sideboards, settees and decorative pieces throughout.
