Sloppy Joanna's

2 pounds ground turkey meat
1/4 cup olive oil
2 dozen whole wheat hamburger buns
1 chopped onion
2 red or green bell peppers
1 jalapeno pepper chopped without seeds
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
2 cans chopped tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 cup graded cheese

Brown turkey meat, onion and peppers in olive oil. Add seasoning- cinnamon, cumin, salt and brown sugar. Add chopped tomatoes and sauce. Cook slowly for at least 1 hour. Toast buns and serve with cheese on top.

This is my own version of Sloppy Joe's and since it has a Mexican twist, my friends named it after me...........Sloppy Joanna's!
