Bella Vista B&B on Lake Travis

Bella Vista is located just 5 miles from downtown Marble Falls, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. We are situated on the banks of Hamilton Creek and Lake Travis with peaceful and serene landscapes far from hectic, everday life.

Each room offers an oasis of comfort and privacy. Individual patios offer a way to enjoy the cool breezes that stir off the waters of Hamilton Creek and Lake Travis. The stars at night are truly big and bright as you relax in one of our anti-gravity recliners.

Beds are extra comfy with memory foam toppers  and high quality bedding and pillows. Rooms are beautifully decorated in themes that are reminiscent of hotels of the past. Each room has a private bath - 2 rooms with jacuzzi tubs/showers, other room with romantic clawfoot tub, with extra thick towels. All rooms are appointed with flat screen/hd televisions, Ipod dock alarm clocks, and cd players.

Large common area patios often lend themselves to a nighttime fire in the firepit, roasting marshmallows and stargazing. The common area dining-living area is open and conducive to gathering for breakfast or reading and relaxing. A large screen hd television is available for watching one of the many dvds available to guests or catching up with the news on Dish Network, that is also available in each room.

The best awaits as each guest at breakfast. Delicious meals are expertly prepared by Mary. Mary, a retired home ecomonics teacher, is continually searching for unique recipes to serve and frequently trains with expert chefs and teachers in the field of food preparation. Cooking is one of her passions. Many of the fruits and vegetables served are grown in our own garden and orchard. Jams and preserves have been prepared with our home grown fruit.

The Cowboy Cottage is separate from the Guest house and offers families or individuals who are seeking more privacy. It is a  separate facility on the same property. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, living room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a private patio where guests can barbeque, dine or just enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.

As your hosts, we, Mary & Andy Doerfler are on site to help you with local activities, restaurant reservations and touring suggestions.

Future plans for hosting small weddings or family gatherings are in the works. Look for more information in the near future.
