We welcome you to this elegantly appointed and fully furnished  guest house with peaceful surroundings and views for miles galore. A stay at the Star House is the perfect alternative to traditional hotel lodging.  We offer a truly unique and warm taste of hospitality and private relaxation. We are located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country with rolling vistas, natural rock and beautiful landscaping!  The Star House is your very own independent guesthouse located a short distance from Austin, Wimberley, Blanco, Fredricksburg and many Texas Hill Country attractions including local wineries, lavender farms, Blanco, Pedernales Falls and Reimers State Parks. Enjoy peace and quiet upon your return while relaxing in the hot tub viewing twinkling stars in our night sky!

Accommodations for 1 to 4 guests include wooden and scored concrete floors throughout with doors opening onto your own private porches. Enjoy breakfast in view of our Purple Martin and Hummingbird colony. A black and yellow deco styled bath features a shower with large thirsty towels. Sleep comfortably on the queen size pillow-top beds with luxury linens and soft pillows. The living room offers a comfy leather sectional couch. The kitchen is generously equipped with all the necessities that makes a house a home!  Other amenities include ch/ca, wireless internet TV, DVD/CD stereo, CD library, books, microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, hairdryer, iron and large hot tub towels.

Purple Martins,Orioles,Hummingbirds and Painting Buntings are but a few of the birds species you can expect to see. Wildlife is plentiful so don't be surprised if deer are seen in the mornings as you enjoy that first cup of coffee. Enjoy fresh baked apple strudel and pastries each morning along with gourmet coffee, fruit, yogurt, creme cheese, orange juice and so much more.
