Entering into it’s 3rd season of having a market, The Artisan Market is partnering with the Historic Downtown Lyric Theater. Many artist and craftsman, bakers and gardeners gather on the 2nd & 4th Saturday from 9 till 2 to sell there quality items.
Baked Artisan Goods, Rebecca Morelock, started the market in order to have a place to sell her hand made breads and baked goods and soon found that there were plenty of others who would like to be part of a market.
In their now 3rd season, the market has grown to have an average of 15 or more vendors. Jewelry, turned wood bowls, macrame crafts, breads, cakes, pies, cookies and homemade jams. A local gardener brings her home grown produce and also offers fresh made pesto.
Some weekends there will be live music and a food truck so you can enjoy shopping and strolling in downtown. The Lyric is located in the heart of downtown Brownwood with shops up and down Center avenue. There are great local restaurants like Steve’s Market & Deli right around the corner.
